Eva Pannecoucke works with discarded materials to build her intuitive collages. Her textile language is one that reminds us of the anthropology of textiles being related to creating, caring and connecting. She chooses for very common actions on her materials in order to communicate a sense of transparency and openness to the user or viewer. Her main goal is to show a new perspective on upcycling textiles in a design context that encourages the user to let the material grow. Currently she started a self - initiated research project on how to incorporate digital production technologies in her craftlike workpractice.
