Eva Pannecoucke (°1977) studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Ghent. Since 2005, she has set up a design practice, first in Ghent;
from 2020 in an old weaving mill in Ruien, where she both lives and works.
Her textile language reminds us of the origin of textiles being related to caring, creating and connecting.
Her cloths form an intuitive collage, transforming layer upon layer.
With an assembled base functioning as a canvas,
disunity evolves into oneness through the rythm of undyed wool locks and flax.
